ST. THOMAS MORE | CONFIRMATION
Confirmation is a journey uniquely designed to help parents and their teens enter deeper into the mystery of God and walk closer with Jesus Christ and His church as they make their way towards the Sacrament of Confirmation.
In this 2 year program, parents, teens, and sponsors will get to explore the true teachings of the Catholic Church and the relevance of faith today, especially for young people, the future of our church. The online components and bi-weekly meetings give a great opportunity for teens to learn and explore their relationship with Christ and for parents and sponsors to support them through this process.

CONFIRMATION
Through the process of the Preparation, candidates are prepared to learn, understand and be challenged by their faith. Through this experience of “living” faith, they are given the opportunity to choose whether they feel they are freely choosing to be an active and engaged Catholic. is to celebrate and acknowledge that the Spirit of Jesus given in Baptism to us all is truly alive and at work in the each and every Christian. Through this Sacrament, the Church also affirms the view that growth in the Spirit is a continual, life-long journey celebrating and deepening the ongoing initiation into a new life with Jesus which began at Baptism.
community
Our Church is made up of many different groups of people. An authentic community of believers has many qualities, but none more important than being a safe place where members can be open, honest, and even vulnerable with each other. To have an authentic community also means being part of a group where relationships are important.
small groups
Small groups foster closer relationships within the community, and provide a comfortable way of introducing everyone and understand that we are all on the same leveled playing field. It also provides a way for each other to live out their faith in their own unique ways and participate in prayer with one another. Most importantly that it cultivates a comfortable atmosphere for openness.
impactful service projects
Service matters to us especially because the Lord has called all of to be active “priest, prophets, and kings to represent God to other people in witness and service, and also to represent other people to God in prayer. These roles define our Christian walk, and this essential ministry service aspect of faith is the epitome of volunteer devotion to ultimately echo Gods love for all.
retreats
Our schedules can be very rigorous. Often we need to take time to step back and focus on our spiritual journey. Even God took time to rest when He created the world. Retreats allow us to dedicate the time to the Lord and restore ourselves so that ultimately be better disciples of christ. Retreats offer perfect opportunities to build community with people, amazing friendships that are made. Although you may not know everyone on retreat you’ll get to know everyone through sharing, reflections, talks and sacraments. Relationships centered on Christ will change your life. Retreat is a perfect place to foster those relationship.
